'Fun' Factor: spent some quality time outside...just had too! here's some video...

Volunteer Involvement: even with the delightful evening weather we had a good show of adults so we were able to spend some time in small groups unpacking what love looks like when we live it out. we setup the lesson with a quick video from "britian has talent" talking about the group "diveristy"...who recently took great encouragement from their audition. i loved the line from the lead guy "we're just normal guys..." but when they link the talents the room goes electric. you can watch them here...

Music: adam and the band sounded great. the playlist included...
Student Response: the whole night was fun. great engagement by all. we were missing a few because of another weekend prom.

we wrapped up our time with a creative prayer. reading through some prayer thoughts we had the students let go and sense God's forgiveness. standing on the stage was a powerful image as all the students had their hands raised high...seeking God's favor.


so excited for two big things...1-veneration has cut their first cd and are working on the production side of things and 2-we're making plans for a fun summer...with D2S09 - june 23-28 as a great week of "living love" watch here for more info.
