a thousand heroes...at d2s-09

during the 3rd nite's teaching time, i was up and i wanted to bring the idea home that a student CAN make a difference in the world. i invited a couple of students who are literally doing hard things in for a conversation. to begin we beamed 14 yr hoops of hope founder austin gutwein in for a conversation about how he started his ministry. the conversation is shorter than i had hoped because of the storms that had rolled through earlier and wrecked our schedule. but the few minutes were excellent and really helped move the idea that a person's age doesn't keep them from being a hero. here's the video...
