we hosted a guest worship leader, jeremy sharp. jeremy was the worship leader on the epiphany weekend at mohican juvenile correctional facility this past week end. jeremy has a great heart and an amazing talent. ( check out his myspace) After the worship set Jeremy and I talked about our weekend experience having served on Epiphany. I borrowed the pray vigil chain from the weekend to try and give our students a deeper sense of what a simple act of "agape" can do for someone. on this epiphany weekend, the prayer vigil was some 1, 688 links long. i had the students unroll it and they had to spiral around the room three times with all the students and adults helping to hold and they still didn't get through half of it. we ended our time by circling up around jeremy and praying him up and out.
