weekly wrapup 2.1.09

it was Super Bowl Sunday. So we decided to step it up and try something different.

five families opened their WARM homes to allow us to invade to share in some fellowship and some great food.

the reports thus far proved that the evening was a smashing success. with an outpost as large as ours it was fun to push out to homes our gathering for fun and festivities.

the past couple of years we had hosted a big game bash and mixed it up at the outpost. lots of sweat equity to make it happen, but not really sure about the larger impact after the event. i've already heard some great stories about new relationships and some real investment in the lives of some of our studnets.

the host homes all hit a home run with some creative muchies and creative ways to make the evening a lot fun. looking forward to hearing more about the fun had.
