603.2 miles, 13 hrs and 10 minutes...
so we hooked up the loaded trailer and off we went on thursday morning. as usual there were several things that had to be done before we could leave...one being the electrical connection for the lights on the trailer were different but nothing a wirecutter and some wire nuts couldn't fix quickly. then we were off. here's some comments from those that went...
I enjoyed the trip. 13 hours and 10 minutes? It didn't feel like a minute over 12 hours and 59 minutes. Weird. I was shocked by the level of damage that took place. I can't believe there isn't more relief for these people. Mega dittos to Bible Church of Columbus. Wish there was more they could do and that the government would do. i learned working can be fun if you're doing it for the sake of the other people. i also learned that riding in a car for that long with your brothers can be so aggravating (lol) and my mom is really cool and jeff is not as bad as i thought he would be, but i thought he would be soooo much hyperer.Jordan McCartney - 7th grader
I really had a great time! I like to be a BLESSING to others! It just blessed me taking all thoes boxes of things into the church and seeing their faces how much stuff we brought to them,i felt bad for the people whoes homes got destroyed by the flood, some of thoes houses were so tiny.Even though it took awhile getting out there the trip was well worth it!I hope to get another chance like that again to be a BLESSING!Angie McCartney - Adult Leader/the.evolution

I'm glad I'm not as bad as Jordan thought I would be. Don't know how to take that.
